EZ Breathe was founded out of a multi-generation family business with more than 40 years of experience in basement and crawlspace waterproofing. As the largest waterproofing contractor in the Midwest—servicing eight states with 15 locations—the company identified a recurring issue: even when foundations were dry, traditional dehumidifiers failed to resolve lingering odors, poor air quality, and discomfort in below-grade spaces.
Driven by a commitment to world-class customer service, the company invested years in research, testing, and refinement to develop a better solution. After improving upon an early ventilation concept, the redesigned EZ Breathe Ventilation System was created to effectively address moisture, odors, and airborne pollutants.
Customer feedback consistently showed that EZ Breathe not only improved basement and crawlspace air, but also enhanced overall home air quality—resulting in fresher air, fewer odors, and noticeable health benefits for families.
In 2003, EZ Breathe was established as an independent company to make this technology available to homeowners everywhere. For more than 20 years, the company has remained dedicated to advancing indoor air quality through building science and a deep understanding of how healthier homes contribute to healthier lives.
